Kuykendall, acquired for a partial allocation on August 10, 2006, spent the past two seasons with D.C. United and appeared in two matches for the first team, both in 2005. He played every minute of D.C. United's 12 reserve team games last season and helped his squad to the inaugural reserve league championship - notching two assists.
Kuykendall spent his college years at American University (2001-2004) where he led the Eagles in goals and assists his senior season.
