Professional:
2008: Made 23 regular-season appearances, including 18 starts, and 31 total appearances for the New England Revolution, including U.S. Open Cup, SuperLiga 2008 and CONCACAF Champions League. Scored two goals and added three assists during MLS regular season. Missed a total of four regular-season matches while with Bermuda on national team duty: against Houston (March 29), at Houston (June 12), against New York (June 18) and at Real Salt Lake (June 21), and missed two games with a foot injury: against Toronto (June 28) and LA (July 4). Suffered a right hamstring strain at Colorado (Sept. 20) and missed a match against Columbus (Sept. 27). Did not play in the MLS Cup Playoffs after receiving a two-game suspension for a hard tackle on Herculez Gomez of Kansas City (Oct. 25). Appeared in all five SuperLiga matches, and made one start. Scored the game-winning penalty kick in stoppage time against Pachuca.2007: Played in 29 total games, starting 26. Scored two goals and added six assists. Established career highs in almost every statistical category, including appearances, starts, minutes (2,210), assists, shots (36), shots on goal (12) and fouls suffered (41). Netted the game-winning goal against Colorado on Sept. 29 in the 88th minute of a 1-0 victory. Established new postseason career highs, starting and playing all 90 minutes in each of the Revolution's four postseason games. Had his first-career multiple-point game against Dallas on Sept. 15 when he scored his first goal of the season and added an assist. Made his first-career start at MLS Cup against Houston on Nov. 18.
2006: Appeared in 10 of the final 11 matches after missing the first four months of the season while rehabbing from off-season knee surgery. Scored his first goal of 2006 in the regular season finale - the game winner in the 88th minute against Columbus on Oct. 14. Appeared in all four postseason games, assisting on Taylor Twellman's goal in the 113th minute in MLS Cup 2006.
2005: Scored his first career MLS goal in his first start against Kansas City. Scored the game-winning goal in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals to help the Revolution win the series 3-2 on aggregate. Suffered a season-ending injury to his left knee after scoring a goal against the MetroStars.
International:
Currently has 24 caps for Bermuda and has scored seven goals. He has appeared in seven FIFA World Cup qualifying matches for Bermuda, scoring three goals. Started in a pair of qualifiers against Trinidad and Tobago on June 15 and 22, playing a full 90 minutes as Bermuda defeated Trinidad and Tobago 2-1 in the first-leg of a home-and-away, aggregate goals series in Trinidad. Played 78 minutes in the second-leg, a 2-0 loss which eliminated Bermuda from World Cup qualifying. Participated in the 2006 Digicel Cup, the Carribean Gold Cup qualifying tournament.
Collegiate/Club:
Began career at Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont before starring for Lees-McCrae College in Banner Elk, N.C, earning Division II first-team All-America in 2002. Played in the USL's D3 Pro League for the Carolina Dynamo, tallying four goals in 13 appearances. Played in Bermuda's Premier League from 2003-2005 for Dandy Town Hornets, winning the 2004 league and cup double and scoring 15 goals in 28 appearances.
Personal:
Has a daughter, Milana. Son of Deborah Smith and Wayne Baxter. Also has three siblings. Enjoys hip-hop and reggae music. Favorite film is Dances with Wolves. His favorite TV shows are CSI, House, American Idol, Law and Order and SVU. Cites his favorite soccer moment as scoring his first international goal for Bermuda.
