Gameday Experience
- Driving Directions and Mass Transportation Information
Giants Stadium, located in East Rutherford, NJ and part of the Meadowlands Sports Complex, can be easily accessed by Routes 3 and 120, as well as the NJ Turnpike. For specific driving directions, click here.
NJ Turnpike Information for Exit 16W
As construction in and around the Meadowlands Complex continues, the Route 120 exits have been rerouted. There will be signs directing you through the detours, however please give yourself extra time when traveling to the match.
Heading to the Stadium:
From Route 3 East
The detour that switched the Turnpike and Stadium exits has been removed. So like previously, after taking the exit for Route 120 and the Stadium, bear right at the fork in the road and make the left by Giants' Training Facility to enter the J toll plaza.
From Route 3 West
There is now a new exit for the Stadium/Sports Complex just past the old exit. After you take the exit, bear right and make a right at the stop sign. Then make a left by the Giants' Training Facility to enter the J toll plaza. An alternate route is to take Route 120 North and take the Complex exit and follow the signs to the stadium.
From the NJ Turnpike (North or South)
After taking exit 16 W and passing through the toll plaza, bear right to take the overpass directly into the Complex.
Leaving the Stadium:
Going to the NJ Turnpike North or South
Follow the signs inside the Complex to take the overpass directly onto the Turnpike.
An alternate route is to take the road exiting the Complex next to the Giants New Training Facility (near Lots 13 and 17). After passing through the parking toll plaza the road will 'T'. Make a right and follow the service road that will lead you to the now one lane exit for the NJ Turnpike on the right.
There is also an entrance to the overpass from Route 3 West (immediately after the overpass) if you take Route 120 South to Route 3 West. Patrons can also take Route 120 South to Route 3 East for a Turnpike South entrance located on a service road after the bridge.
Mass Trasportation Information
NJ TRANSIT has replaced No. 351 Bus service with a new rail/bus shuttle service between New York Penn Station and the Meadowlands Sports Complex via Secaucus Junction Rail Station. With the launch of this new service, Bus No. 351 will no longer operate to the Meadowlands from the Port Authority Bus Terminal.
Here's how the new service works: Customers traveling to the Meadowlands for Red Bulls matches will board trains at New York Penn Station (PSNY) and make a quick, convenient transfer at Secaucus to waiting shuttle buses to Giants Stadium. Regular $10 roundtrip tickets will be sold at all New York Penn Station ticket windows and ticket vending machines. Dedicated ticket windows will be available for your convenience.
Advance tickets can be purchased at the Port Authority Bus Terminal, PSNY, Newark Penn Station and Secaucus Junction.
Getting there is easy:
- Go to Penn Station New York - Penn Station is located 8 blocks south of the Port Authority Bus Terminal at 32nd St. and 7th Avenue. Subway service is available on the A, C, E and 1, 2, 3 subway lines. (From Port Authority Bus Terminal, travel one stop downtown.)
- Buy Your Ticket - Special $10 roundtrip tickets are available at all ticket windows and ticket vending machines at Penn Station New York and the Port Authority Bus Terminal. Your ticket is used for the roundtrip train ride between PSNY and Secaucus and for the shuttle bus trip between Secaucus and the Meadowlands.
- Board a Train - With your ticket, you may board any NJ TRANSIT train to Secaucus Junction. Check the PSNY departure monitors for trains with "SEC" code shown next to the train number. Trains labeled "SEC" will stop at Secaucus; do not board a train that does not indicate "SEC." Secaucus Junction will be the first stop (about 7-10 minutes after departing New York).
- Transfer At Secaucus Junction - At Secaucus, exit the train, go upstairs and follow signs to the bus loading area. Use your train ticket to pass through the fare gates.
- Take the Shuttle Bus to Giants Stadium - As you board the bus, present your ticket to the bus operator. The trip to Giants Stadium will take about 15 minutes.
After the event:- Buses to return to Secaucus Junction will depart Giants Stadium from the NJ TRANSIT loading area located at Lot 13/17, past the practice field, outside of Stadium Gate D. Shuttle buses will operate up to 30 minutes after the conclusion of the event.
- At Secaucus, check departure screens for the next New York train.

+ click to enlarge - Tailgating
Tailgating is permitted in the parking lots provided that ticket holders use the same space occupied by their vehicle or tailgate in a designated tailgate zone. Please be courteous to your fellow guests; open parking spaces should not be used for tailgating. Tailgating is NOT PERMITTED in Deck 23 which is located next to the IZOD CENTER or at the offsite parking location. If you have a large tailgate party, stadium management strongly encourages you to arrive early and use the grass berms and paved areas on the islands located between the parking lots. This will allow you to fully enjoy your party while being courteous to your fellow fans. Grills are permitted for tailgating enjoyment, provided guests do so only in the same space occupied by their vehicle. However, their use near buildings or in areas where guests or property may be damaged is strictly prohibited. Please do not discard hot coals near vehicles or in plastic waste receptacles. For your safety and convenience, hot coal bins have been provided for the disposal of charcoal. These large red or orange "hot charcoal" bins are located on the islands/plazas between the parking lots. PLEASE DO NOT DISCARD TRASH IN THE HOT COAL BINS. Open fires are not permitted. Trash receptacles are located throughout the Sports Complex parking lots and near the Stadium entrances. Please bag and dispose of your trash to make it safer for vehicles exiting the Sports Complex after the game. For more information about Giants Stadium please click here.
